You do not need a referral from a doctor to see a speech pathologist.
Assessments are used to gain an overview of a child’s communicative strengths and weaknesses, and to identify any areas of concern in their speech, language, and/or literacy development.
A comprehensive assessment will be conducted prior to starting therapy sessions. An assessment will take up to 2 hours, depending on your child’s age, areas of difficulties and ability to participate in the session.
Assessment sessions are predominately provided within the clinic, however a mobile service to home or school may be available depending on your child and family’s requirements. Please get directly in touch to discuss a mobile assessment.
A full comprehensive report will be provided 1-3 weeks following your initial assessment session. This report will provide details of all assessments completed and your child’s results. It will also provide recommendations and additional information as required.
Please go to our assessment booking page to make a booking for your child or get in contact to discuss suitability.
Speech pathology therapy sessions are provided within the clinic. Mobile service to school or home may be available although not guaranteed.
