The program will target developing your child’s AAC competence in a fun, engaging way while cooking.
This is an activity based semi-structured social group.
The speech pathologist will facilitate further development of a range of social and communication skills using your child’s AAC device.
Any AAC device (high-tech or low-tech AAC) is welcome in the group.
This group is recommended for school aged children.
The group cost can be claimed using your NDIS funding package however it is recommended you confirm with your NDIS Local Area Coordinator if your funding will cover group therapy.
A pre-program interview may also be scheduled in the weeks before the course commences to ensure suitability at a cost of $50.
